So, some months ago, I posted a couple o' pictures of Magnus, my big scottish dragon. And recently (more or less), I drew these three lil' things that I decided to submit as well.
Instead of posting those separately, I just mashed them together in a single Paint document. From left to right :
- Magnus' human form. Because yes, he can shapeshift (like most dragons skilled enough in magic) and take the form of a massive black-haired scotsman. The transformation's not perfect, however : as you can see, he has pointy ears, slit-shaped pupils and a stream of smoke coming out of his mouth.
- A caricature of his true form; I wanted it to be Dolan-like ( i.imgur.com/74kbO.png ) but it ended up looking "too good".
- And finally, the tartan pattern of the belted kilt he usually wears when switching to his human form; I took my inspiration from the "Mc Intyre" tartan depicted in the Vestiarium Scoticum. It doesn't match the cap he's wearing on the left picture, but that's because I drew the latter months before I determined the tartan's pattern.
