I think you did a fine job on the lens effect, too, it's a really nice touch that enhances the whole piece. Good work!
Also, THANK YOU for participating in the Secret Santa! Tidmatiger did a lot of work for all of us, and it really pays off in moments like this. I get an awesome surprise from someone new, and someone new is gonna get an awesome surprise from me. It's the circle of joy! *ahem*
Can't tell it's macro? Take a very close look -- there's a volleyball in Rooth's palm, and he's about to spike it back onto the beach. The volleyball, however, is smaller than a pixel, so you may have trouble seeing it. But rest assured, that volleyball team on the beach had this meteorite coming!
(note: eartips need blackening, but gifts don't have to be correct to be cool *grin*)
I highly recommend secret santas. They're fun, and a cool way to meet new peeps. :)
