This art is really close to my heart. It was almost hard to continue into the coloring process because I still have not gotten over his passing. But my father was not a quitter so why should I be?
My father passed away in 2010. He was the most wonderful person in my life and I could not have asked for more.
He suffered for a long time before he finally gave in. He was a fighter through and through. He took so much joy in aquatic life and even though his favorite fish are Africans I see him as a bold red Betta.
His spirit will always be with me and I only hope I can make him proud each and every single day I take breath.
