Gryphons are one of those critters I love to see drawn well, but can't actually draw them well myself. This started out realistic, then I decided to just go with the cartoony look instead - I liked the look of terror on the lizard's face too much.

Hmmm, technically, a geek bites the heads off chickens and whatnot (I don't- ewww0- it's a carny term. So I might more properly be termed a nerd. But geek works, too! I just read faaaar too much stuff that isn't "entertainment" related... That, and I just love lizards in general.
