OH OH OH!!!!!!

HOLY SHIT! This is the EXACT sam kind I got today!!! I got 2 of these with blue sheathes and a blue tassle on the hilt.

This is a neat little blade. Pretty good for weed-whacking and cutting down small trees. It's a pretty sturdy blade for light cuts and practice, but just be careful not to smack it against a hard surface.

Do you know the idea behind the straight blade and the flat sheath? I believe my Japanese friend told me that the ninja used them because they were easier to conceal than rounded-sheath swords. Also, the flat shape reduced the amount of noise the blade made when unsheathing.

Cool, though that straight blade suggests that it's not a katana, but instead a ninjato or chokuto. Katana are characterized by their curved blades.

I wish I could have a sword like that. :P
