It's an excellent piece with a classic, children's book quality to it. However, the grandfather in the upper left corner seems to prove my theory that otters look like Wilford Brimley...

Hey zee-zee can't you just see the little neighbor kid coming in to see his friends and going up to the mom and saying "Mis otter your house smells like fish" and the otter replying "oh, why thankyou dear"

I love not just the pure artistic abillaty here but the scene itself

Heehee, yep, there's just so many fantastic little things about the picture that I love - especially the cub with the fishing rod, who you can just hear shouting "Mommy, Mommy, look, we caught a great big one!" All the facial expressions are just perfect!

Some days typing in words like "Applause" and "Laughing Out Loud" just don't really seem to cut it.

THis is a great picture. It tells not one but many little stories. Each character doing somethign different and then reacting to the "Fishermen" returning.

Yes, this I know, but I've titled it after the song "The Otter's Nest" by Joanie Maddon, which was also the inspiration for the piece.

Rather than repeat the comments others have given first, I'm just going to say that I love this piece and you are increadably talented. I was reminded of the Redwall stories when I saw the thumbnail.. And while I think the naughty young man who stole the strawberry is cute, I think that the cub who went fishing is my fave int his piece =^-^=
