he's my baby gelert and i love him to death

his design came about because i was making tweaks to neopets science and figured a baby pet probably doesn't actually morph into some totally different thing and probably actually looks like what it's parents looked like/what it will look like as an adult

riri's mom was spotted and his dad, unbeknownst to him, was a darigan

riri hasn't made the connections yet (he's pretty young) and no one wants to tell him because they don't want to encourage his adoration of the darigans because they're "evil"

he's a major sweetheart and he has a strange connection with ghosts, even the mean ones (there are plenty around him as he is part of a neopian sanctuary that takes in freaks and orphans of all kinds)

this is just the first of many refs i've made (well actually it's the last one i drew but w/e) and i have a fuckton of neopet characters so there shall be more

i love my neopets and especially love roleplaying them hint hint
