What's that? I finally put to digital pen what the world they live on looks like, and it has a name? (Thanks WalkiTalki for the name!)
I get to dabble in the world of filler pages this week. Between a trip to MAGfest and a few other holiday trips, it's been a quite busy last couple of weeks. I felt that I needed to do a bit more with the page though, and got around to designing the world, and giving it a name: Planet Clade.
I've had the idea of the world for a while now, especially thinking about where the cast may go, and it's just a lot of fun to draw the cast and the planet in a style like this.

This is right up there with the Great A'Tuin in terms of novel world designs. It also raises so many questions! Where did Clade come from? Where is he/she/it heading? Is there some Great Big Skull in the sky that Clade came from/is heading towards? Does this mean Clade has a twin "sister planet" out there in the cosmos? What's the geography around the "top"/"bottom" areas of Clade like? In any case, this looks like it'll be all sorts of fun for future world building in the comic :B
