I though a picture of Neuschwanstein , one of Ludwig's castles, in the snow might be of interest. It was snowing hard enough that you could not see the turrets.

i don't know if you've ever read "cerebus" by dave simm (you know, the little grey ardvark dude). but the guy who does the backgrounds (gerald, he goes by) always draw gothic style castles like this one....beautiful.
