he's around 8 or 9 feet tall. Highbloods are usually pretty big. The Darnathi species in general though are all on adverage taller than humans. Darius is 6'5'' and he's considered "normal" Silver is 5'9'' and considered short.

The guy they got to play Apocalypse for a fan made X-men movie was about that tall.

Its good to see a General of that race who is having a cordial conversation with someone. But then, I have yet to meet a General who is not someone who rushes in blindly instead of placing pieces like a chess player.

Of course, who is to say that him showing this commendation to Artimes is not one of such moves on a chess board.

We're talking fictionally in this universe, or including real examples also? If we're talking all fictional universes, I'm going to have to ask you go read the Vorkosigan stories by Lois McMasters Bujold. Lots of fun stuff in there :)

*huge grin* I love the subtle additions you're making to the myth and legend of Ferric. "Rustbringer" is a good title for him, not to mention the significance of such a relic.

I have to imagine, though, that if you were to collect all of the supposed pieces of Ferric's various weapons that various people own, you'd have enough metal to equip every solider in the Darnathi Imperial Army with a longsword.
