I did this little thing a while back basically making fun of the story line called Sonic the Hedgehog: 25 Years Later by everyone's favorite person to rip apart Ken Penders. I felt cheeky when this idea came to mind but hey what's the fun in being in a fanbase if you can't pop a few jokes ever now and then.

Sorry to say but putting Tails and Mina together, really? These are two characters that have had zero conversations together, their interests couldn't be more opposite. Heck, I don't think they have even made eye contact so how do they end up together in the future? Sorry but writing wise Ian has Penders beat.
d'oh I put the wrong the name! Yeah Ian is lightyears ahead of Penders.
I can't say anything about the pairing that hasn't been said already other than when I first found out about it I was pissed off. I'd been looking forward to seeing Tails appear during the MXYL saga and seeing what he'd apparently been up to during that timeline, seeing as this was before Fiona turned traitor I was really looking forward to seeing if he had wound up with her like he'd been pining for...and then out of nowhere he's paired up with Mina Mongoose! My brother and I were like WTF!? How did this happen? Seriously how the hell did these two characters get together because like you pointed out they have next to no interaction together what-so-ever. Nearly every time i'd seen Mina during that point she had been fangirling over Sonic just like Amy so that she suddenly winds up with Tails made no sense. honestly I was actually expecting Tails to hook up with either Amy or Barby if he wasn't with Fiona, either one of those would have made more sense in the long run since he already had some chemistry with Barby and I can see Amy settling for him if she couldn't have Sonic (and didn't go completely batshit insane)
