Sherry smiled as Vesara asked how she had been.

"I've been well. Can't say the same for Chief Reynolds, though. An intern accidentally bumped into him and he spilled his coffee all over himself. I'd never heard him scream so loud or high before."

Vesara giggled. "You don't say."

Sherry giggled in return. "He'll be fine, though; his uniform took most of the liquid. By the way, thanks for recommending that new heavy metal music. It's funny, but sometimes that helps me concentrate."

Vesara grinned. "Whatever gets the ol' grey matter going helps in our line of work."

"Hee hee. Sure does."

Sherry had big ambitions: she wanted to be a police officer ever since she was 10 years old. She got her wish, joining New Dawn's finest a few years ago.

She never thought a villain would cause such a drastic change in her life. And for the better.

Sherry was kidnapped during a patrol by the villain Sharpfury and rescued shortly after by New Dawn's mysterious vigilante, who identified herself as Vesara. After thanking her for saving her life and that of Amanda Knight, Sherry decided that she needed to help this heroine if New Dawn was to be a safer place for everyone.

So Sherry began to contact Vesara and feed her helpful information. In time, the two grew to be very good friends, building trust in one another.
