This is next to the last sketch I did of 2013. While waiting to go on Dusty's livestream I scratched out this sketch of RD doing what she is good at. Being awesome! Actually the pose is based on some recent moments from my Equestria dreamscape.

I'm curious about something. When you show things your pony-self couldn't possibly have seen first-hand/hoof like Applebloom's impressing of Luna in her own dreamscape or Luna's meeting with Zecora, is it because you heard about or were told about them, or do actually you see such events in your dreams?
Scenes like this are the result of what I refer to as the Phantom camera crew. I am physically not present in dream but I experience as if I was watching a film or video. In the Equestria dreamscape this also means I usually only have sight and sound.
The interesting thing is that my subconscious will let me view and hear these events while I am dreaming, but I am unable to act on them until I am made aware of them at some point in a future. Either that night or in a future dream. Until Petina comes walking up to me with blue paint on her I can not act on the fact that a bucket of paint fell on her while she was walking down the street. If I try to prematurely act upon the information to stop something or to change the course of the dream one of three things happens:
1. I wake up and for the rest the evening I am unable to return to that dreamscape.
2. Suddenly the dreamscape changes and I stuck in a boring "dream of being at work" for the rest of the evening.
3. My subconscious will alter the dream in some way that makes the information from phantom camera crew either wrong, inaccurate. Also the now changed storyline is not any better in fact often it is much more unpleasant.
It is only when I am awake that I am able to speculate, comment and see the overall "Big Picture".
Does that help any?

So you're an omniscient narrator (to a point - you don't know everything there is to know about the world, but you do know everything that's shown in the story) who has to pretend that he's not omniscient? Very interesting.
How long did it take you to figure out that you shouldn't mess with the narrative like that?
