'Hercules', engine No. 5 on the 15in gauge Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, waits at Dungeness in readiness for the return journey to Hythe. 'Hercules' is one of only two 4-8-2's on the RHDR (in fact, in all of Britain!) and was built by Davey Paxman, of Colchester in 1927. The same company also built four of the other RHDR engines.
