This vixen is clearly a master musician. From the finery of her fiddle we can see she is the one taking center stage in this song.
She provides the group with the melody as the dancers prance about the fire.
By her feat is a sheep's skin of drink.
Perhaps she made sure all her friends had a good swig of whatever is inside, wine, mead or whiskey maybe, and that is why they are all so merry?

whatever is going on, I am sure she has done it all many times before.
