This is a random love poem I have had in my head all day while I was cleaning the house...it may also be part of the massive amounts of romantic pop music from the 90's...Any who
I have heard tales my love of how the sun and the moon fight. They do not fight each other for dominance of the sky. Now they fight over their light, and which of their light makes you look more beautiful. The sun with all his pride boasts that it is his warm light that makes you radiate your beauty for all the see. He says that when his rays hit your hair it glows like gold, and that it flows like silk. That your eyes show how bright and beautiful they are. That they shine like the deep emeralds of the earth. He says it allows all of the world to see every single curve of your body. That nothing can be hidden and can make it so all can see how much of a women you truly are.
The Moon says her light gives you the true nature of your body. Her light makes your hair shine like the diamonds that dot the sky behind her. That your eyes while dark also give you that look of a goddess that has come down among mortals. That her light teases the world because it does not show off your form. That males have to use their heads and when you step into the light, every time you always outdo their imagination.
Where do I stand in this fight of the battle of your beauty? I stand here before you in awe of it all. I am here lucky to be able to do something neither the sun or the moon can do. I get to gaze upon it in both lights. I see both of their arguments and I think they do not understand that it is not their light that makes you beautiful but it is just you that does it. Your soft hands, your sweet lips, your ever loving eyes and your gentle soul. They can argue for all time which of them makes you shine even more. I will not care who wins in the end because I am blessed to be right here by your side.
PS do not DL this, all you get is a old recipe I wrote for work I just needed something to be in that slot.
