Yep! This is Penda and Kiree's Mum and Dad! Can you see the resemblance? ^.^;;;

Anyway! It's thanks to their mum and dad that it makes sense that Penda and Kiree are related! XD But I also really like the mum and dad designs. I'm the one that was behind the idea of make them years ago. But they came around after Penda and Kiree came into creation. Gigi and I got together one day and we wondered, 'They do show small similarities but, how can we determine that they are related?' We made, Mum and Dad! ^.^

So, as you can see both cubs do take after there parents.
And I kinda like to think that maybe both cubs share the similar ''hair'' styles fro both parents. And so you know. The Father is fat. idk why... But in the comic the Dad was a stupid, fat guy. And the Mother was the one calling the shots, and trying to keep things in order. Penda (the older cub) likes things to turn out her way, but she can show a fun personality. Kiree (the younger cub) is fun loving, and playful, and that would sometimes get in the way with Penda's plans or ideas of having fun.
The comic never came into too much development. They was hardly ever colored. But there was a time before Kiree's design was established that the comics was taken, scanned and was turned into a story board with voices over the top. I lost those now, but I think Gigi may still have them! X3
