Unktehila is fond of other muscular characters, and has made friends with a few here on FA. One in particular is of a species whose DNA is even more ancient than that of the reptiles: the shark. In particular, this shark friend's name is Shark-Blade!
Unk and Sharky (a buddy name he has for him) got to know each other way back when Sharky was just learning 3D and offered to re-do Unk's old model in Autodesk Maya, instead "re-rigging" his model so that it could automatically have muscles that bunched and rolled appropriate to an organic structure. In his case, a well-developed MUSCULAR organic structure. And thus was the Unktehila project begun.
From there, plans to animate Unk after being modeled were made. Plans which are quite close to fruition now. Soon in 2014 we hope to show you the fruits of his labors.
In the interim, Sharky has developed his own talents as an illustrator, and Unk has discovered a number of other talented illustrators, including the brilliant artist who brings us this remarkably striking muscular depiction of these two in a bodybuilder competition together.

I keep worrying about the 4011 comments and PM you must get on a daily basis and feel if I added my 2c to every image of yours I like it'd make for 8022

That's awefully kind of you, but honestly, I love getting comments. I don't get as much as people think I do on a daily basis, which is kind of funny, so I welcome everything :) Please comment on stuff of mine if you like, I love reading it.

caasi has made Unk look bigger and bigger and BIGGER over the past year or so, and I just effing the heck out of the effort and am so pleased with the progress you can see he's made just on my page alone. (I guess a "caasi and unk" search works.)
I really do want one of yours in 2014, but doubt I'm gonna manage any additional stream visits more than I've managed in 2013, so my chances of being there when I can score a commish I estimate at being about the same as winning more than $10 from a scratch-off lottery (after having spent at least $20 in tickets first). That is to say, crappy at best.
So, like with the scratch-offs, I'll try but not very often. See ya when I see ya!
