although in a very serious DEAD SERIOUS critical manner, i would think about varying up the drum slightly every so often, maybe drop the beat altogether for a second or double up any of the kit sounds.

If somone is gonna rhyme over it then it usually is repetative, But If one does a beat CD of just pure instrumentals, then change up's keep it fresh

I don't like the spacey noises man, they just seem kind of out of place, since everything else seems to be just straight drum and cymbal and then suddenly it's like WAHWAHWAHHH

keep in mind though I know nothing about music.

heh that's word, i'm mostly an experimental musician so that'll kinda leak into everything i do
so basically yeh, you pinpointed exactly what i was tryin to do, heh! contrast the strict drums with out of tempo crazy sound

Meh, I can't really critique experimental stuff.
I know myself for being an experimental artist as well and when people say "what the fuck was that?" I just get really pissed.

yeh, the downside of experimenting that that you basically lose half your audience from the get go, haha! just gotta come to terms with it. i've heard way harsher shit said about my stuff (particularly regarding my VERY experimental projects) than what's goin down here, for sure!!
