Okay, lately I've had "Alvin and the Chipmunks" on the brain. I don't know what caused it; the fact that as of this writing, it is the 20th anniversary of the movie "The Chipmunk Adventure", the fact I am such an '80s nut, fond memories of the Saturday morning cartoon (I liked the '80s 'toon much better than the old '60s 'toon), or whatever.

But I think that shortly after a conversation with my buddy Belchic, on how Lucky, Cadpig and Rolly of 101 Dalmatians fame are somewhat similar to what Alvin, Simon and Theodore are like, and the fact that I got a first look at the live-action movie's poster probably inspired me.

This is a '101 Dalmatians: the Series" styled joke on the movie poster. It has:

Lucky as Alvin
Cadpig as Simon
Rolly as Theodore
Roger as David Seville

And come to think of it, there was an episode of "101 Dalmatians: the Series" called "Shake, Rattle n' Woof" that involved Roger using the pups' barks for a mix tape and Cruella tried to scam the Dearlys out of the farm using their vocal talents. And yes, the 2007 movie was cool.
