Here are a few close-up shots of the needle felt Tiny Finn I made for my nephew, Andrew. Actually, Finn was the last one that I made, and honestly probably one of the easiest to make, too!
You maaaayyyyyy be noticing that I didn't needle felt Tiny Finn's backpack: this was simply because I wanted it to be able to balance and stand on its own with only a little help, and adding the backpack would have just made it top-heavy... Little compromises you have to make as an artist :/
Tiny Finn is right around 4 inches tall, and took me between 4-5 hours to needle felt. I needle felted him out of white Ashland Bay Corrie Cross wool, then "painted" on the details with fine artists markers and micron pens.
