This little cheesing creature is a Bowter - a small race of people whose greatest joy in life is a hard-day's work. They also enjoy causing pranks and practical jokes against one another, preferably while on the job. Their small but able hands are known for building some of the greatest structures known both in history and in the present times. The city of Methkendalm where the Tsanli reign was commissioned by the country's formerly prosperous people to become the capital for their country. Their expertise helped shape the spires and great walls of Eradil, from where the Kimku governed and launched their campaign against the world. Even the Ta'Ruq, the ruthless, ancient, magic loving peoples of yore employed the craftsmanship of the whimsical Bowter in their dark and foreboding mountain citadels. Without the Bowter, the world as all know it never would have or, in some cases, could have been.
Numbering far too many for their small island homeland accommodate, only the richest and/or most powerful Bowter have the opportunity of living in their native land. As such, permanent Bowter colonies and roaming companies exist throughout nearly every corner of the world. Because of this the Bowter are quite probably the richest people in all the world in my fantasy universe, as each company sends a large percentage of their earnings back to their homeland. These taxes are collected and then redistributed to any ailing companies in different regions of the world. This ensures their survival aboard and the continued dependency upon their many trades.
Lost of type for not so much pic, but such is the nature of the story. I hope you enjoy.
