Notice the absence of Gorm's enthusiasm. Since the last pic, he's only been able to chow down another 2 miles, bringing his size to 7 times that of his original size.

The rules said he could stop any time. Right now it was looking like a great proposition. But, alas, Gorm's also well-known for finishing every challenge he takes on.
