Yuri was nervous, he'd never really been to a party before. Okay, he had, but not one that wasn't a big, royal ball that his father held and had him dance with princes as a princess in. He played with his glass and looked toward the dark elf who'd brought him along in hopes of finding him a friend. Er, well, finding someone to get Yuri out of his hair, anyway. Yuri was following him like a baby duck, he was shy and super scared. The dark elf, Xarix, getting fed up with playing tag-along with the young snow elf, decided to "make up a game". "Yuri." He started, putting his arm around the younger elf's shoulders," I'm going to help you be less nervous and meet some people." "O..Okay...Xa...Xarix." Yuri stammered, trembling at the thought of being forced to meet people. Xarix pulled a bit of cloth from his pocket and turned Yuri around so Yuri's back was to him. Carefully he put the cloth over Yuri's eyes and tied the blindfold behind his head," There... now you don't have to see people... but you can feel them, and listen to them... you'll do much better meeting people." Xarix slapped him on the back and pushed him off. Yuri wasn't as nervous, after all, when you can't see the crowd, it's hard to be afraid of them, but now he couldn't see anything at all, and was afraid of embarrassing himself by stumbling over things. He moved carefully, using his hands and feet to make sure he wasn't going to trip over anything, eventually losing his boots so he could feel the ground better. He managed to make it passed a lot of people without running into them, all but one. He bumped into Calph," O..oh! Pardon me!" Calph chuckled and caught Yuri as he tried to leave," Not so fast, we're under the mistletoe." "Mis...mistletoe? So? It's just a plant." Yuri said with a whimper at being held onto. Calph laughed and stroked his cheek," You don't know many holiday traditions, do you? If you and another person are under the mistletoe, you're suppose to kiss." "KISS?!" Yuri yelped, stepping back some. Calph released him," Alright, alright... sorry." Yuri pulled a hand to his chin, biting his lip. He was being so rude to Calph, so he stepped closer," Okay, but... I can't even see you... you'll... you'll have to guide me..." Calph grinned and pulled him closer," I can do that."
