Slipstream had literally blown into Miracle's life in May, not long after she had moved to Colmaton. She quickly found his quirky sense of humor endearing. The heroine, though, was absolutely shocked when he revealed to her that he was blind. Her blindness was something she had worked to conceal. During one fateful encounter with Drain, Slipstream accidentally figured out that Miracle shared his condition.

This turned out to be a blessing, as that brought them closer together as friends. The two were able to confide in each other and share their triumphs as well as struggles. In fact, Slipstream even calls Miracle his little sister, and the raccoon equally considers the panther like a big brother.

Sometimes, this big brother noogies his little sister, trying to get details of her latest date.

Well, at least Slipstream does. Not that Miracle minds too much.
