Explanation time: Remember this picture?

I did it kind of as a special bonus to the whole video that I did, thanking Lee for his help, also thanking Dena, his wife for letting me get in contact with him, but I always felt like I drew her poorly in that picture, so I felt bad, but.... Dena then at one point (as far as I recall) asked if I could make a picture for her like this, since I've mentioned wanting to do it. And yeah I shouldn't accept requests given how busy I am, but...... DENA NATALI.... end of story, I had to do it, and so I did, but with how complex of a deal this was, I made 2 images for her I originally figured I'd wait until August 17th, Dena's birthday, but then I finished the image before Christmas and kind of thought... AH WELL, it's a good Christmas gift, so here they are!

FIRST: This is the more serious picture. Dena going through the streets of Silent Hill. I first drew the second image, but I changed her hair here to be a bit closer to the way they are now, not sure I've accomplished my goal. Honestly I'm showing this first because I think it's more flawed. I was so unsatisfied with it. So much work went into it and it looks so "mah", or that's what I thought, but then I showed it to a friend who's never played Silent Hill (much like me) and he instantly thought of Silent Hill looking at this, and it surely wasn't the file name, nor the fact he recognized the Heather Mason clothes that Dena is wearing here. SOOOOO then I stopped and said to myself "Eh, ok fine, maybe I did SOMETHING right. " And so here it is... I'm sorry, so many things are breaking apart at once while I type this that I rather just say... Merry Christmas Dena! "Silent Hill, Holy Hill" and all the dumb stuff... hope you like it!
