Aw, poor kitty. I'm glad he ended up okay at the end, but it was such a sad little story and it's a shame that things didn't work out for him and the lady. I thought their interactions were the best part of the story, and it was actually rather charming how much he tried to get her to like him. His being struck by a car just made me wince, too, as you can only imagine how that must feel and how frightening it would have to be, especially for a creature who doesn't understand about cars. Very nicely done, and thanks for sharing.
