The weather today has been awful. Half the city lost power because of freezing rain, and we're bracing for some heavy snow. Yay.
On the bright side, I didn't lose power (wahoo), and the freezing rain makes for some pretty interesting photos. I wish I had more time to set up my tripod and at least a reflector so I didn't have to shop the lighting on this, but I was in a bit of a rush to take photos, grab breakfast, and head to a quick family reunion (yippee-ki-yay).
Oh, and to clarify, the pine needles are entirely frozen. It makes for a cool effect, but also slippery roads.
