really fucking love Mass Effect
I've always loved that universe from game 1.
and i'd be more involved in the fandom buuuut...
call me weird, but I just haven't been able to make a Turian, or a Krogan, or a Solarian, or I guess I could try a Quarian, but for some reason none of the big races really attract me.

now, literally everything else on the other hand?
Geth? Vorcha? Volus? Elcor? hell, even Batarians. But most of all the Geth. I have more an attraction to the lesser used or background races than the main ones.

BUT ANYWAY. so this is sort of a first attempt. A geth named Billboard.
The idea is that he's not really a Geth per se, but rather a hollowed out husk of a Geth and reprogrammed for advertising. He's basically a futuristic cigar-store indian.
He's got decals, holograms, all kinds of shit on him to advertise products, and he just wanders around the Citadel. Nobody really cares or listens to him because he's just a clunky AI.

however... he sorta gains sentience over time. Not quite gaining total free will or independence, but just enough to know that his job is incredibly dull and he wants to want something more.

I was really trying to think of how a Geth character would work in a populated space, but I think I got it pretty down.
