I figured I'd try a more anthropomorphic approach to one of those koopa birdy thingies, and this is what I came up with. I figured his shell could look like armor, and drawing this has made me think I ought to try drawing the full body sometime.
Personaly, I think his neck came out looking pretty cool, but maybe that's just me.

Well, he definately looks...umm...vulturey. Which means that now I have the image in mind of him cleaning up roadkill. I blame you for that, Tarmas, what with you telling me about that one that you saw. :P
