Rodent seems to have encountered a rather unique slug, who catches his prey by spitting out a gooey, sticky slime to trap them, before slurping them up. :)
Slugs are such awesome predators, with their thick, fleshy bodies and tons of oozing slime, and once the surprise wears off, Rodent will realize how lucky he is to have this encounter. ;)

Heh. Being gift art, I don't know the intent of Rodent's fate, but I like to believe that it was left to the viewer's imagination.
After all, the statement of 'going to be in there for a while', could be in relation to how slow a slug's digestion system is when dealing with non-plant meals. ;)
