Hmmm, false. I'd say it's sometimes true but for me, it's always the upper wear, mostly t-shirts, sweaters, etc. I always like seeing what logos people wear on themselves or what people are into. After all, clothes tell a lot about a person.

No, it's automatic, it's just the first thing I notice about people. I believe this "fact" as they call it is an overgeneralization, which there are exceptions to and I'm one of those exceptions. As a rule, I never look anywhere below the belt at anyone. It's mostly because of the whole homophobia thing. I was raised in a small town with small minded people in it that would make a gay joke out of anything and anyone that was truly gay was heavily ridiculed and bullied so we all just learned to avoid it. Heck, nobody would use the urinals next to another person. We always spread out to every other urinal because of homophobia at my high school. I still practice that, not because I want to, it's just grown to be a set of unwritten rules for me. I look at shirts subconsciously because I catch myself doing it, even when I'm not trying to look. Especially with women because they sometimes think you're staring at their chest.

Well shoes are on floor level and I'm sure there are people who look at the floor. If you don't think you subconsciously look at that, that's find, not everything that I find for the "Lu and the Internet" thing are proven facts with backed up documentation :)

I actually don't look at the floor as I walk or the ground, which is probably why I trip over things like sudden changes in elevation in the sidewalks often. I tend to look straight ahead or up at the buildings. I love seeing the skyscrapers and the architecture of the city. It's so fascinating and beautiful.
