.A smaller series within the Ismenara series, I have chosen Inkstone Beasts as the subject for my senior thesis next semester. I want these drawings to evoke something, a question, an emotion, a concern. We humans as a species need to rethink and reform the way we interact with nature, particularly animals.

We beat them, torture them, cut them up and eat them, string them up, work them to death, breed them into genetic defects, experiment on, test, and poison them. In our love for them, we commit unspeakable sins against them.
