This is an odd one, which is why you find it in my scraps. When cleaning out my stuff from my mother's house, earlier this year, I found my old paper money collection. In it was this, a banknote I'd hand-drawn when I was ten or eleven. The currency and language are made up, and 1997 was far in the future when I penned this.
I remember the set of markers I used to draw this. Made in Germany, I think, and very well, too. I miss quality-made kid stuff. Don't get me started on the "Cheap crap from China" syndrome. But mostly I miss having the leisure to sit around and make goofy stuff like this just for fun.
