Eventually everything needs a little touch up, your car, the wiring in the house.....my tail. Yeah my tail, something that is hinted at in my profile but never outright explained. I figured it was about time to have something show the truth of the matter. Both of the foxes eyes as well as his tail are bio-mechanical replacements for the real ones he lost some time back. Each crafted to blend seamlessly with the real world so that no one knows the difference aside from himself and a select few. Well now you all know.
As for how things work he can lend his thanks to some talented Russian associates for the upgrades when the real deals erm......vacated his presence. Both eyes have illumination capabilities, able to cast an icy blue glow at least ten feet in front of him where ever he may look. They can be switched in and out of various modes with thought alone, modes all include: x-ray vision through at least five feet of most material, night vision effective for around sixty feet, infrared vision also sixty foot range, hologram projection [as long as he does not blink] up to seven feet away, and an internal diagnostic read-out that equates to him having the ability to interface with most electronic devices and see electrical impulses.
The tail is the less complicated of the modifications to his body, but of the two it is by far the most useful on a daily basis. Made out of a highly condensable carbon fiber laced with adamantium components, this tail is most often covered in either a hologram or a sleeve of faux fur to keep the illusion of a real tail. Having complete mental control over the appendage it is as dexterous as either of his hands and can be gentle enough to cradle a child or strike out with enough force to partially dent a steel gerdur. It can lengthen itself, thinning out the longer it stretches and giving it range but losing strength the further it goes. Reaching a maximum of thirty feet in length where it functions as either a whip or a form of rope to hold the fox in place or swing himself out of harms way. At any time during it's use the tail also acts as a conduit, able to tap into the power source linked between the eyes and the tail itself to release a discharge of electricity. The strength of the discharge is mentally up to the fox himself, being as little as a static shock or as strong as a bolt of lightning....the latter being used only as a last resource because doing so will dry up his reserves. Leaving him blind and the tail dead weight until he can recharge.
Phew what an explanation! Sorry to have gone off like that but I wanted to finally flesh out those details to their fullest.
Kiryu was open for limited slot commissions and he did this pic in about two days! First person to ever draw up the hidden details of my character and he did a fantastic job! Thanks ever so much Kiryu!
Tyrse Styles of course belongs to myself.

Merely both eyes and his tail. The eyes were replaced when his natural ones began to degrade and he started to literally go blind. The tail was replaced when he had a disagreement with a few members of a Russian syndicate.
Heh and while that sounds good in theory you have to think logically about that. The body only produces a very small charge that keeps it going and stimulating certain responses. Possibly enough to power the eyes alone, but not the tail and eyes combined. Severely draining the natural electric charge of the body could lead to brain damage when neurons cannot fire properly!
Having a separate power source for the two he can replenish when needed ends up being much more efficient long term and much safer.

I think it's funny he wears glasses when he has sophisticated robotic eyes.
And what powers his attachments? Any form of electricity? I would think the eyes would be able to work off the body's electrical system, or something biological as a failsafe to keep his sight. On that note, how long can he go on a full charge if he uses the minimum options? Normal vision and a slacked tail.

Old habits die hard of course, those glasses are fake and just for show. Anyone would assume someone wearing glasses had poor vision right?
Merely using those two devices day to day without strain causes no drain to his energy reserves. Even if completely drained it is only a matter of time before he works up another charge to to speak. They run off of what is referred to as a P.M.D......or perpetual motion device. The most simplistic way to think about and explain it would be to compare it to one of those flashlights you shake to power up. The more he moves in a certain way the faster he can rebuild a charge, the only issue is that he is still not a machine and is in fact a biological creature. At full charge he is perfectly fine, but say he got into contact with an aggressor and a fight ensued. You cannot go around zapping everyone instantly with electricity so his internal reserves will build constantly. This causes a build up of heat in his body, wearing him down and causing fatigue and possible internal damage if he does not release some of the charge. It's easy to note when he is "overloading" in this manner as he tends to pant and even emit steam from his mouth while breathing.

Yes it is not the best of systems, but one cannot complain. What do you expect from black market Russian scientists? XD
As I said above he either discharges the electricity itself when possible or begins to exhale steam in an effort to let the heat out.
As for it being strange that he gets fatigued from too much energy not all that much, when you consider how he gains it and the act that electricity forces the body to move when in contact with muscles. Even standing still with an overcharge would be exhausting as all his muscles would be twitching in a rapid fashion making him feel like he was running a marathon. Also sadly no, no way to turn it off without some nasty consequences.
