It probably smells very perfumesque. We know that Dave didn't spend money on soap and deodorant, in order to save money for his farm on Fiji. The Cat would want to smell nice, and Rimmer would want to smell like Napoleon. Fragrances were very in during the time of Napoleon, so a strong, flowery smell would be what either one would choose.
