(There's a spool of thread jammed in the mouth to hold it open.)
I made my first Sparky head a couple years ago and it was pretty bad, so I tried again. This one is done on a
dreamvisioncreations canine hinged-jaw mask blank (slightly padded to make more hyenalike), with matching jawset and tongue. I reused the same DVC hyena nose from the old head. The ears are built on DVC cat ear blanks. There is a small 1.5" fan installed in the muzzle. The hair is artificial hair wefts sewn in place. She has a ponytail, its kinda hard to see because its black.
I know the first picture looks like its lopsided...I dunno, I didn't notice anything until I took the photo. I'll see if I can even things out.
Anyways this head is very muzzle-heavy. I wound up attaching some velcro on the inside of the head and the other side to the outside of the balaclava hood to try and keep the face from tipping downward. It seems to be working so far. Unfortunately I cannot wear my glasses in this head like I'd hoped, not sure I can do anything about that.
The armsleeves I made the other day completes my partial. I'll try to get fullbody photos sometime when I can get my brother to take some.
edit: Okay I lowered the left eyebrow and shaved the left side of the muzzle some more and it looks better.
