North American animals chase figures
Each ChocoEgg series would have an ultra-rare, or 'chase' figure. I used the same technique for the chase animals here-- scanning one of the original ChocoEgg papers that came with the figures, and redoing the text and illustrations. The blank spaces on the right contained a lot of Japanese writing I was too lazy to try and translate, but I think was assembly instructions and safety warnings.
Now if I was to do a 5th series, which extinct animals would be the chase figure?
What you have to choose from:
Eskimo Curlew
Caribbean monk seal
Heath hen
Sea mink
Spectacled cormorant
Bachman's warbler
Imperial woodpecker

Imperial woodpecker!
My father still swears he saw a trio (one male and two females) of imperials a few years back, despite all research indicating that they've been extinct for some time now. I'm not sure I believe him, but I'd love for him to prove us all wrong one day and get some pics of them.
