One of my more recent sketches, featuring my advanced red fox fem, Blaze!
I've got some pretty ambitious plans for the final version of this picture. It involves using inks, Copics, gel pens, pastels, acrylic paint, and a whole load of other materials I haven't used in years. But I'm pretty sure I can do what I'm planning!
Expect to see the finished results in early January!
The final version of this picture *may* be appearing in the ConFuzzled 2014 artshow, pending the outcome of their Terms & Conditions review.

This picture is things kinda going full circle. I originally drew Blaze in costume as a tribute to Haruka Takachiho's Dirty Pair, before she became my most significant character. So it seemed only fitting, in what would be her 10th anniversary picture, to put her back in a spacesuit!
The theme of ConFuzzled 2014 is "visions of the future" - on other words, how folks back in the 1950s thought we'd be living about now. I took inspiration from a lot of the 1950s sci-fi films to get the look, so it's good to know it worked out!
(Now it all depends on whether or not she appears in the artshow at ConFuzzled, or EuroFurence!)

Both Blaze and Rorschene will *definitely* be appearing in the EuroFurence artshow. Whether it's the finished version of this piece, or a different one, depends on what happens with that review.
But even if this picture does make it into the ConFuzzled artshow, I'll still have prints of it available at EuroFurence: so one way or another, you will get to see it!

It's a huge pity I missed that one, then - I'm a massive sci-fi fan, and I would have really liked to see that!
I've been to Further Confusion four times in all - 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2007 - and I've always had a great time there. But I did at least make it to the USA in 2013 - I was at Anthrocon!
