In the past I had gone exploring in mysterious caves and had attempted to collect treasure that had been cursed. Each attempt had resulted in my transformation into a dragon. Have I learned my lesson? No. But I did find some more treasure that will be ALL MINE!!!

once again in the world of being a dragon huh? See this is why I learnt shapeshifting magic, I can have stuff like this happen, but i can also choose what I want to be.
As for the clear mental changes that have happened here... well... let's just say I have a stupidly high will save (IE stubborn as all fuck)
