I have a strange fascination with the West. It did stem from Fievel (having seen it numeerous times) and I just drew up these three at random. The first one I drew was the hare and he was exaggereated, so skinny it was unrealistic and so tall, you'd wonder what I'd smoked. But he was meant to be a farmer, chased off his land by bandits. The racconn I called Lucky because he wasn't exceptionally bright but very resourceful. Yeah, twee, I know. And the badger was El Bandito, a fighter like Zorro but not quite as good....

The story behind them did turn decidedly dark though. Yeah, I started off nice but then I made it very very un-Disney like and more like NIMH. Then it was wierd Indian magics and blood and gore. Yanno.. I spot a trend with my nice fluffy creations... XD
