It’s one of those last great milestones on the road to adulthood, turning 21 is. Why 21? I mean, why not 20? That’s an even number. However, I don’t make the laws, and in the States, 21 is that magic number that suddenly makes you old enough to partake in that social custom that is known as drinking alcohol. Not like a number like that ever stopped me from enjoying a tasty beverage or two.

I digress, though. This isn’t my party. No, this is Xander’s! He’s the birthday folf! And look at him, so happy to try his first beer. Oh…he’s gonna hate it, I bet. That’s how it always is. You hate it before you start liking it.

Look at me, some friend I am, just thinking to myself when amongst friends. And it’s great to be amongst friends. So cool of Xander to invite me to his little git-together over here. Nice seeing him and Chirs and…that purple guy. What was his name again? I’m sure I’ll remember the name later. Okay, enough thinking. Time to participate. I think there’s a toast going on. That purple guy is talking. No idea what is being said, but I think they’re about to wish Happy Birthday. Okay, here I go.

So, yeah, this was the first time I got a joint commission with friends! I mean, I’ve had a picture my character with another character before, but I made that, so it’s different. This is was the first time a friend was all like “Hey! You wanna get a commission together?” Obviously, I threw my arms in the air and was all like “Fuck yes.”

Xander’s birthday was coming up (and has already passed by now, it was on the 10th of December), and he was wanting to get a commission of he with his furry friends. We decided to go with Flaredra, because reasons that I forget. I was excited, because never got Flaredra art before, and I’ve been wanting to. This was the result, and I’m very happy with how it turned out. More importantly, Xander is very happy with it as well!

I’m the cheetah on the right, with my hearty stout in hand. Xander is the folf next to me. He’s got his blue moon. Funny story about that. Will get to it later. PhantomFullForce be the purple one giving the toast. And Chrimson, a mutual friend of Xander and I, is the fox on the left with…I don’t know what that is. Got a lemon in it. I think it’s rum and something. Or is it gin and something? Not sure. But there we all are, celebrating.

Now, about that Blue Moon. For those who don’t know, I’m a bit of a beer enthusiast. I like it. I have since my brother introduced me to good beer back when I was 18. That’s why I have a tasty stout in this picture. Xander is new to beer. And he really did go out to have a Blue Moon to celebrate. I knew what was going to happen. He wasn’t gonna like it. If you haven’t had beer before, it can be bitter as fuck. And if you’re not prepared for that, you’re gonna hate drinking it. Took me a while to discern other flavors besides generic “bitter”. But I’m a bit of a hop head, so bitter doesn’t bother me so much. It bothers Xander. He doesn’t like beer now. That Blue Moon didn’t turn out so well for him. Good thing this picture was made before he tasted it! Sorry, mate. Should’ve warned you before hand. Slipped my mind. Don’t worry, though. I have a plan to correct this. We will find some drinks you like.

Also, everyone, please drink responsibly. Drinking and driving is bad. Don’t go crazy when you’re 21 just because you can. Just, a little caution, please.

Anyways, awesome birthday picture for Xander. I really am glad to be a part of it.
