For a dragon like Bolt, a raptor can be a veritable Swiss army knife of bodily servicing. If used properly, it can provide:
- Pad groove preening (that snout can go deeper than you think)
- Sole licking and rubbing (hard to feel, but always looks nice)
- Scale gnawing (especially good between the toes)
- Inter-scale cleaning (have it trace each scale with those tiny claws)
- Pad lubrication (it may need persuasion before releasing enough body fluids)
- General satisfaction (try inserting it somewhere new)
- Claw sharpening (find a coarse rock or just have it chew them)
- Dexterity training (practise picking it up between your toes)
- And many more!
