Someone very dear to me got this for me for Christmas. I wasn't expecting it at all, stood blinking at the package the mailman handed me. Had no idea what to expect...opened slowly and to my surprise, this little fellow was staring blankly at me.

He's not very big, but anoles don't get very big...and diaphonization doesn't work on larger animals. The biggest I've seen done was a rat. Anything larger, diaphonization doesn't work at all. My guess is muscle density.

The silver balls you see in the glycerine are fishing weights, they keep him submerged in his fluid. WIthout them, he floats to the surface.
