Its a shame that most furries don't see the need to do over-priced illegal substances just to enjoy good techno, and would rather just have a good time at a convention 'rave/dance' over 3 days of partying with people whom are just like them and share many similar ideals?
Its more sad that people actually do go to raves just to hit E and get f***ed up to enjoy techno and trance music. I was raped by 8 guys in 2003 at a 'real rave' after they put something in a glass of water I asked for out back of a club in Cleveland. These 'raves/dances' at fur cons are much safer and healthier to me than any 'real rave' out there.
Just my insight.
Furcons are more fun.

Mmh. Depends on the raves. Alot of them here in AZ are still underground so you see alot of the same people, and it's very.. Well, 90's. Back in the day everybody looked after each other, which is what they do here. Lots of raves these days blow, otherwise. Furcon.. Raves... piss me off, but that's just my feelin' about it all.
Suppose not everybody can be lucky and have all the good fun of a good rave.
As for furcons,
They are fun.
Mine goes like this:
1) Arrive
2) Murrsuit
3) get drunk in murrsuit
4) murrsuit drunk
5) stay drunk for the weekend
6) go home hung over
Furcons wouldn't be fun otherwise :3 I'm not big on buying porn or talking about computers/video games all day. :3
