Sketch commission for  luigi-vaporeon of our characters Samantha (left, owned by :userluigi-vaporeon:), and Amalie (right, owned by me), spending some sisterly time together. =) After having arrived in America, Amalie has a hard time adjusting to the new crowd she is faced with, let along the difficulties of making friends. Samantha, her sister, takes her in to her home, and together the sisters face daily challenges together while Amalie seeks to find a job. Both sisters are very fond of one another, and are very partial to each other's feelings.

It was meant to be a quick sketch, but I couldn't resist giving this one a bit more extra attention to spoil myself with details. I used to enjoy spending hours drawing greyscale for the sheer joy of including as many tiny details as I could. After starting with ink, marker, and pencil, I found details to be cumbersome and time-consuming, and slowing my progress down. Still, when I found the opportunity to draw something to look good, I knew I had to give it my all, and did so in a way that was fun and enjoyable for me. =) This money and further commissions will be used towards obtaining a laptop. ^^
