Last year, I was invited to take part in a show at a local gallery. The name of the show was "The Cute Show".

I've never done cute before and thought it would be an interesting challenge. In attempting to decide on a subject, I was reminded of a story I told about an eight-year-old girl and her mom when I worked in an independent bookstore.

Mom: What kind of calendar would you like.

Daughter: I want a puppy calendar! Now, wait! I want a rock star calendar!

I told my co-worker that the perfect calendar for that age group would be a puppy rock star calendar. She thought that it should have glitter and dragons, too.

So, here is my puppy rock band, The Glitter Dragons!

Vocals: Sammi

Guitar: K.T.
Drums: Momo (based on a real canine of the same name)

Oh, yeah. it's a cartoon waiting to happen.
