I've been into Furry art for a while now, then I decided to make an FA account a few years back. I haven't really found my place among this crowd, some people are really cool and some are just really into themselves. I label myself as a "watcher" because I'm really just here for the art but I understand where a lot of you are coming from and wish I could be more. I'd probably never do a Con but it's good to know that tons of you are so welcoming!

I can definitely understand you there bud. To be honest though, the same could be said for any scene. I think you just have to go and have fun with it. I'm a watcher for sure. I love the artwork and giving ridiculous amounts of hugs to other fursuiters, but I don't think I'll be able to pull a fursuit off myself. It's a different world, so I just take it for what it is and loose myself in it. For me personally, it's a form of escape. I love the art and the idea of being around folks in suits, since it reminds me of Disney as a child or Halloween which is my favorite time of year. It just simply put, makes me feel nice and happy. That said, there's nothing wrong with being a watcher. I'm one too. I'm sure you'll find your place in the community somehow. ^_^
