Ok, here was the plan: To take the original sketch and do EXACTLY what I did with Seig's Sonic Riders picture and using what I did before to refine the process. So why did I not? Very simple... I forgot how I did that ;¬_¬
Anyway I loved the original sketch so much I didn't want to change it too much. So I removed all white I could and blured the image slightly to blend the appearance. There are TWO line layers though with slightly different blur effects on them. Then I just used base colours as the original sketch offered it's shadows.
I'm sorry I wasn't able to do much with it, but I hope you like how it looks. Since I can't use the same process I did on the Sonic Riders picture, I can't create lineart in the same fasion for this. I was working from the ideas and concepts of several tutorials. I think the main idea before was the use the RGB sections and select the lines, then copy the lines using an extra Blue layer that was created with the RGB settings for clean lines, then filling it in with black and even the shaded sections appear shaded. Guess I only got one image out of that method.
If I remember how I did it, I'll redo this using the previous method and re-upload it here.
