400$ of sushi... Colour me jelly! QAQ

my aunt lived in Japan for almost 5 years, and when she came home she was a champ at making all kinds of goodies.
She invited me and my cousin over and made a shit load of Sashimi and we drank like 4 bottles of Sake XD

I've never had real sushi. Is it as good as everyone says it is?

Some people like it, some don't. It also really depends on the cut of the fish and the type of fish. Sashimi doesn't have any rice or wrap, it's just slices of the fish.

A lot of times when you find sushi rolls it will not be raw fish; it will be a seafood salad with imitation crab. I think there is sushi out there for everyone, just gotta try stuff!

I am sucha whimp with sushi.. I LOVE California rolls, but people say that is not "real" sushi, since I cannot stomach eating raw fish...Right? They are not raw, right? RIGHT?

I tried this buffet sushi once, and it just tasted like mayo, it was bad.

But.. I want to try it, the sashimi, at least once though... Wish I knew people who liked sushi that lived near me and I could just steal a bite of theirs. xD

Sashimi is pretty hardcore. You could probably start off with a tuna roll or shrimp. As long as you eat your sushi correctly it doesn't really matter what's in it!
